Meet bluereverie

Shaynna Gueno grew up in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and now proudly calls New Orleans her home.  As you walk the streets of the Crescent City, you can feel its spirit, and the city called to her.  Heavily inspired by nature and her imagination, she fills her home with natural treasures, creating a process of organic assembly.  She uses many mediums to bring her creations to life, but mainly focuses on incorporating natural objects like bones, insects, gemstones, flora, and feathers in her metalwork.  Her metal sculptures and jewelry are usually made from sterling silver, copper, bronze, brass, and nickel.  She has studied under Steven M. Donnelly, M.F.A. at the New Orleans School of Metalsmithing.  Shaynna has been creating art for others under the name bluereverie since 2012, and occasionally sells her work in New Orleans at various art markets.  Some of her available creations can be found online in her shop, and you can keep track of her adventures and works in progress here.
